Patricia “Pat” Ann (McGowan) Moore, 86 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.

Pat was born on January 1, 1934 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late George C. McGowan and Nellie M. (Wilson) McGowan.

Pat was a 1951 graduate of Wellsburg High School. She was a member of the Apostolics of the Ohio Valley, Beech Bottom, WV. Many will remember Pat for her love of crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “KY” R. Moore, a brother, Kenneth McGowan and his wife, Faye.

Pat is survived by her two children, Gregory R. Moore and his wife, Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK and Cathy A. Moore of Wellsburg, WV, four grandchildren, Monica Marcinek, Connie Renee (Jess) Coppinger and twins, Corey S. and Travis R. (Lauren) Moore, three great grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin Timme and Axel Moore, all of Oklahoma City, OK, a brother, Charles McGowan and his wife, Madge of Port St. Richey, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and church members will be received on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 11:00 until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, with Pastor Larry G. Wallbrown, officiating.

Please note that limited access and social distancing will be in place during visitation and funeral service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask or face covering. Hand sanitizer stations will be available. In addition, if you are unable to attend or not feeling well, please consider sending a card or leaving an online condolence.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.

So sorry to learn of Patricia’s passing. They used to visit me all the time at the funeral home, and she would always crochet dish cloths for me, which I am still using. Loved KY and your Mom more than you will ever know. Sending love and prayers to your family. She is now with the love of her life.
