Obituary for Lenus Carl Clouser

Lenus Carl Clouser, 86, of Weirton, WV, passed away at 9:20 PM peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Weirton Geriatric Center, under the care of the Staff, which became his friends, and Valley Hospice.

Lenus was born on April 17, 1930 in Newport, PA. He was the son of the Russel Harold and Nancy Jane (Schaupf) Clouser.

Lenus served his country proudly in the 72nd Tank Division Company as a Technical Sergeant during the Korean War. After returning from the war, Lenus started working at Starvaggi Industries of Weirton as a Truck Driver.

In addition to his parents, Lenus was preceded in death by his two sisters, Mary Wetzel and Alice Wallburn, and four brothers, Russell, Marlin, Clarence, and Richard Clouser.

Lenus is survived by his dedicated children, Debra Cooper of Follansbee, WV, Carl Edward (Tanalea) Clouser of Washington, PA, and Mary Elizabeth (Steve) Horr of West Alexander, PA, three grandchildren, Douglas (Nicole) Horr, Scott (Stacey) Horr and Eric (Cassie) Horr, 10 great grandchildren, a brother, Gill Clouser of Newport, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 10:30 until time of Funeral Service 11:30 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551 with Pastor Mark Perkins, officiating.

Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA, with Military Honors by the United States Army.
